It explores different collection parameters and approaches to the theming of collections; concerns about collectability that are connected to the larger market, as well as aspects of collecting outside of monetary value and scarcity; resources and tips for getting deals on rare games; and suggestions for how the collecting hobby can change one's relationship to gaming more generally. Drawing from a variety of examples, including the speaker's 25 years of collecting, it provides a chance to talk collecting and collections, "grail" finds, and surprise discoveries.
