TABLETOP & RPGs
It’s time to play! Browse the hundreds (and hundreds and hundreds) of board games in MAGFest tabletop library, then take to the freeplay area for your session. Looking to role play? Sign up with a game master for a session of Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Blood on the Clocktower, or another role playing/social deduction game with your own party or jump in and make some new friends at the table.
COSPLAY
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or newly cosplay-curious, the BurgQuest cosplay track is packed with programs to bring inspiration (and glory!). Learn from cosplay content creator guests in panels and interactive workshops, and show your stuff in the cosplay fashion show or the mainstage cosplay contest, featuring over $1,000 in cash and prizes.
LIVE MUSIC
BurgQuest is thrilled to host an exciting lineup of concerts featuring gaming and fantasy music acts throughout the weekend.
Get down to the video game jams of the 18-piece brass band Grooveburg, settle in with the soundtracks of the incredible Triforce Quartet, or set the mood for your grand RPG quest with the tunes of Cyanwood, Sirens & Liars, harpist Erin Roukous, and Euterpea Fantasy Flute.
SIDE QUESTS
Accept the challenge of conquering a variety of side quests throughout the weekend: captaining the bridge in a Starship Horizons simulation, looking good while firing at foes in our Archery Tag or Mission Laser Tag arenas, or taking on event-wide scavenger hunts with The Big Game and the BurgQuest Quest.
SPECIAL EVENTS & SHOWS
Have we got a show for you: roll giant dice and collect stars in Mario Party Live, marvel at the acts of the Shadow Cirque Aerial Performers, and do the time warp at a wild late night shadow cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
MARKETPLACE
Trade your coin for fantastic goods with dozens of vendors in the BurgQuest Marketplace, your home for gaming, fantasy, and nerd gifts and curiosities of all kinds.
GAME DESIGN
Playtest tabletop and video games with their developers (or present your own game!) and dive into a track of presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities for creatives making games and the people who love to play them.
TOURNAMENTS
Compete for glory in BurgQuest game tournaments open to players of all skill levels, including a Pokemon TCG tournament, speed jigsaw puzzling, and the raddest POGs showdown this side of the 1990s.
